Architecture By Synthesis

This project was in response to my observation that the interiors of most lamps are ugly and excessively hard on the eyes if viewed from above. It is a sculptural piece meant to be enjoyed from any angle. Someone observed that it looked like you were looking up through water at a temple, hence the name.
