Grain Bin Building Design

I have been developing a building system using grain bins as the structure for about ten years. I have always liked designing with circular spaces, curvilinear forms, domes etc. Using the bins makes it affordable along with many other beneficial aspects. Using the bins with foam insulation makes a continuous SIP (structural insulated panel). Using the bins in conjunction with particular types of foam insulation makes for a very strong, wind/flood/earthquake resistant shell. Maintenance free for at least fifty years and no need for added siding, roofing or drywall. The steel provides for fastening points everywhere. They can be built w/o concrete footings in remote locations. They can be moved whole and easily recycled and modified. What's not to like? These are just some of the ideas and plans. The coolest ones are kept in my office, out of sight for now.
