An ongoing experiment of design, materials and techniques. Often clients can't visualize some concepts I'm proposing; these "experiments" allow them to have some idea of what I'm talking about. I would never transport a design element out of context but sometimes they are similar enough that it helps clients to grasp a particular concept. My home is my laboratory and even I have clients to accommodate in these projects although they have learned to trust my judgment more than not. The clients are my spouse and children and I have been known to ignore them when they want to change the design I'm in the middle of building. "Don't change horses in the middle of the stream." "Haste makes waste." I live my life by many sayings and the troubles usually occur when I don't follow the rules I know to be true by virtue of observation and experience.
