Sometimes it is the little things that count, that bring us the most joy. It certainly is fun to design and build them with the owner. Good design should flow or help accommodate flow. Details should help the big picture work.

A walkway becomes a step, steps flow into the yard, a sculptural handrail.

Stairs as a dry waterfall that visually guides you up the stirs to the front door people couldn't find before.
