The Spice - restaurant
I assisted the owner in realizing his goals. Quite a bit of shock associated with the cost of construction here vs in Thailand. And then there was building in the city of Ames and in an older, existing building. Had to navigate some treacherous waters. I was cut out of the construction process for the most part "to save money" and so got to hear of the "lack of experience" in the realms of negotiation with contractors on the part of the owner. All in all a successful project - it could have been more so if I had been allowed to do my job.
The owners realized their goals with the exception of a rosy budegt scenario.
